The Matching Process
It’s a common misconception that vinyl can be printed using an automotive VIN or paint code. Because we utilize CMYK digital printing, we cannot "plug in" a paint code to generate an automated match.
Instead, we use a hands-on approach to achieve the closest possible transition:
Solid Colors: We use premium white printable 3M media to dial in specific color builds for a near-seamless look.
Metallic Finishes: For vehicles with flake or pearl, we use a Silver Metallic 3M base. This allows us to replicate that signature metallic "pop" that standard white vinyl lacks.
In-Person Verification: Because digital screens and photos vary significantly, color matching must be done in person to ensure accuracy against your specific paint.
